Summary

Social Worker - Childrens (Grade 9)

Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Social Worker specializing in Childrens' issues. As a Grade 9 Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention for children facing challenging circumstances and empowering them to reach their full potential. Your primary focus will be on addressing the emotional, social, and psychological needs of children and their families, ensuring their overall well-being and stability.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and their families.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs and promote positive outcomes.
Provide counseling and support services to children and their families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, teachers, and medical practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care and intervention.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of children in achieving their goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Advocate for children's rights and interests, ensuring that they have access to appropriate resources and services.
Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, such as child abuse or neglect cases.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
At least [X] years of experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
Strong knowledge of child development and trauma-informed care principles.
Ability to effectively communicate and establish rapport with children of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to child welfare and protection.
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
