Summary

IT Systems Support Manager | Malvern | Office Based – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm | £35,000

Our client is an expert in their field. They are small business with a diverse portfolio customers and ambitious growth plans. They are now looking for an experienced IT System Support Manager to help with these growth plans.

• Proven experience in IT system management and system monitoring
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and website management is advantageous

What will your role look like?

As the IT System Support Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Asset Management: Oversee the management of the company's internet and IT assets, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on IT developments and make recommendations to improve the company’s IT provision in line with company needs
• Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with IT partners to ensure effective communication and development opportunities for the business
• System Enhancement: Collaborate with software developers to improve existing systems, including support for marketing partners on the website and ecommerce platforms
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor IT performance and compare it with business targets to ensure alignment
• Technical Support: Provide IT support to staff, handling diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software faults
• Query Management: Log and analyse queries from employees and external parties to identify trends and issues
• Reporting: Produce reports for senior management and contribute to strategic planning for IT
• Email and Domain Management: Manage the company's email accounts and domain names
• Induction Support: Assist in the induction of new staff by providing equipment, software configuration, and IT systems training

• Maintain a high standard of customer service and care within your area of responsibility
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Ensure all work produced meets high-quality standards and follows company procedures
