Summary


The post holder will provide clear leadership and coordinate the Step-Down team within the clinical area and have responsibility for the management and organisation of the unit. They will also provide high standard of holistic, patient-centred care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate role model behaviours and be an expert clinical practitioner and work with the senior divisional structure including the Matron and Head of Nursing to promote daily visible leadership and guidance for the departmental teams.

The post holder will be expected to complete a working week which fits the service delivery whilst maintaining a visible presence in a leadership role and may be expected to take part in the rostered weekend duties when required.

We are looking for a enthusiastic and inspiring team leader who is passionate about delivering excellent care to our patients and has the motivation to drive the service forward.

The unit has an excellent team who have very high standards and provide exceptional care to all patients.

The individual must demonstrate excellent communication stills, be a role model to staff and support the members of their team. This person will be responsible for the on-going development of the unit.
