Job Description:
As the Reservations Manager at Daffodil, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in shaping their experience with us. Your main responsibility will be to manage all aspects of our reservation system, ensuring a seamless and efficient booking process. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional service, manage bookings effectively and maintain a high level of organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the reservation system for both the restaurant and events space.
Handle telephone, email and online bookings, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations.
Coordinate with the restaurant and events teams to ensure efficient operations.
Develop and implement strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue.
Handle guest queries and provide information about our services and facilities.
Train and supervise reservations staff.
Monitor reservation trends and generate reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a reservations role, preferably within a hospitality or events setting.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using reservation software and systems.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good team player with leadership potential.
