Summary
Job Duties:
The Customer Service Manager will predominantly deal with supervising and managing store assistants, dealing with members of the public, addressing and resolving any complaints in a diplomatic manner, co-ordinating and delegating work for store assistants, supervising of taking large orders for food and products, training staff on issuing invoices, setting up credit accounts, collecting payments, issuing payment reminders, building good relationship with customers, assessing stock levels, forecasting sales during busy periods. Working closely with the Store and Business Client Service Manager for placing of goods from suppliers, including carrying out research of suppliers and finding good quality products and agreeing to timeline for deliveries, taking into account shelf life of goods. Post will also involve assisting Business Client Service Manager with managing business customers assistants, planning and co-ordinating incoming food and product deliveries. Work closely with other Managers to ensure smooth running of the business in meeting the needs of all client groups. Will provide cover during Business Client Service Mangers’s absence and during busy periods, as directed by Store Manager/Director. Must ensure store assistants observe food and health and safety procedures at all times, and provide customer service training as required.

26400.00 per year
Skills and Experience required:
Applicants must have the required skills and experience working as a Customer Service Manager in a Food retail/wholesale business with good knowledge of a wide range of world foods and products, excellent negotiating and staff supervision skills and excellent customer services, including complaint handling. Candidates must be well organised, be able to prioritise and have a minimum of 3-4 years of solid previous work experience to be able to work in a busy environment.
