Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Project and Programme Support Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of various projects and programmes within our organisation. As a Grade D officer, you will have a significant impact on the overall success of our initiatives.

As a Project and Programme Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the project team. This includes managing project documentation, coordinating meetings and workshops, conducting research, and assisting with the creation of project plans. You will also be required to collaborate with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, ensuring that all necessary resources and activities are appropriately allocated.
Conduct research and gather data to support the decision-making process and improve overall project performance.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure that their expectations are effectively managed.
Assist with the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
Support the evaluation of project outcomes and contribute to the identification of lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or project management.
Proven experience in providing project support within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
The ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a meticulous and accurate manner.
