Summary

I am a young lady living in Gorseinon. I have a learning disability and epilepsy. I get very anxious around crowds and noisy places it can cause me to have panic attacks. I do not like shopping as it causes me anxiety. I am looking for a PA to accompany me do new things, I am keen to try swimming, maybe Zumba or aqua Zumba. I enjoy coffee mornings and art classes. I would like to go to the library as they have a games day. I walk using my walker so my PA should have a big enough car for this to fit. I would also like to go to the cinema, Plantasia, the theatre, the nail salon to get my nails done, also the hairdressers and beautician. I would like to plan to do something daily with my PA to get me out of the house. I am looking for a PA with a mature attitude, has experience with challenging behaviour, has worked with vulnerable adults and has worked within the medical industry and be able to swim.

Car driver essential.

Female preferred.

Hours of work
15 hours per week split into 3 hours shifts Monday to Friday afternoons.

Rate of pay: £12.00

e.g. Manual Handling Course, Basic First Aid

Concerning the position

You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay calculated. A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
