Summary

Summary Of The Role

Due to continued growth of our accounts, we are looking for two Pension Guarantees Specialists to join our Technical Tax & Guarantees function. As a Pension Guarantees Specialist, you would be responsible for gathering data and performing complex calculations for customers to calculate the redress of their pension policy, complying with the Pearl Pension Review guarantee promise.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Accurately gathering data and performing loss calculation to comply with the Pearl Pension Review guarantee promise.
  • Following regulator guidance on completing complex loss assessments.
  • Supporting projects in line with published project impact assessments, meeting time and quality requirements.
  • Completing corporate incident work in line with published incident impact assessments, meeting agreed deadlines and raising BaNCS change requests as required.
  • Ensure that processes and output comply to relevant legislation, including the Data Protection Act, and being vigilant against such things as Money Laundering.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the pension industry including occupation pension schemes, defined benefits and defined contributions.
  • Experience performing complex calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills, and a desire to share best practice, knowledge and ideas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in resolving quality and/or operational risk issues.
  • Drive to learn and effectively navigate multiple computer systems.
