Summary


Essex Parent Infant Mental Health Service - Together With Baby -is looking to recruit a Parent Infant Therapist to join the team to support families living in North West Locality of Essex (Harlow, Epping and Stansted).

The service offers highly specialised assessment and intervention to parents and their infants (0-2yrs), offering support and guidance to improving and strengthening the Parent Infant relationship. The service covers Essex with a mix of urban and rural challenges utilising a small team of psychologists and psychotherapists.

This post will be 3 days (0.6wte) and will offer a hybrid approach of both virtual working and home visiting. The team base is in Maldon and there are expectations to join weekly team meeting, in person, at least monthly, as well work with families across the Essex area using virtual platforms.

We welcome applications from people who are interested in this area and have therapeutic experience but not with this client group as we provide a comprehensive training package and specialised supervision.

The post holder will provide highly specialised assessment and formulation to parents/primary caregivers and their infants as well as deliver individualised evidence-based care packages where indicated including both group and individual therapeutic interventions.

They will engage in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) working with colleagues, supporting relational and safeguarding risk planing and care planning for families. They will also promote the growing knowledge and skills regarding infant mental health across the early years system by offering consultation, advice and delivering training across the network.
