Summary


A great opportunity to join the Occupational Therapy community mental health provision working within West Essex. The team deliver Occupational Therapy interventions for service users under the locality based mental health teams based at Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford.

A range of group and individual interventions are delivered, provided in both virtual and face to face mediums.

As part of the Occupational Therapy service to deliver meaningful therapeutic interventions aimed towards treating an individual within their mental health recovery. Working with colleagues within locality based mental health team to support service users requiring input from specialist mental health provision.

There is an established Occupational Therapy and AHP professional leadership within the Trust, supporting such initiatives as apprenticeships, fieldwork education, professional training and development.

To assess service users referred for therapeutic intervention, and deliver appropriate clinical interventions, reflecting an appropriate evidence base. To utilise specialist assessments when presented with complex cases.

To work with the service user, the wider MDT and partner organisations, communicating andnegotiating treatment plans evidencing clinical reasoning for intervention.
