EXPERIENCED Damp and Mold Operative - Painter and Decorator
About the Role
As a Damp and Mold Operative, you will join a newly established Damp & Mould team who will be responsible for resolving residents damp and mold issues. The team will respond promptly and take effective action to ensure we provide customers and our client with a pro-active, efficient and solution focused service. You will be working in a semi-skilled labourer role and will deliver damp, mold and remediation works. This will include the application of industry-standard techniques and products to address damp and mold issues and subsequent maintenance works if required including plumbing, carpentry, plastering and decorating. You will work collaboratively with the client, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues to build and embed resilient and robust relationships to support successful service delivery and customer satisfaction within Hounslow.
Must drive as company van
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Following training generally assess and diagnose damp and mold problems
Washing and cleaning affected surfaces within residents’ homes.
Treating damp and mold with specified mold treatments.
Carrying our minor repair works.
Responsible for accurate completion of tasks using our in-house handheld PDA system.
Responsible for a company vehicle. This includes regular vehicle checks on company vans.
Provide reports on factors within that are a cause of damp and mould.

You will have the ability to complete material and quantity measuring and have knowledge of industry-standard techniques and products for damp and mold remediation. You will be a team player, able to communicate clearly and have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
