Vacancy: Experienced Dry Cleaning and Laundry Assistant
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dry Cleaning and Laundry Assistant to join our team on a self-employed basis. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of three years’ experience within the dry cleaning and laundry sector and demonstrate a strong understanding of both customer service and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating all aspects of shop-floor duties including washing, drying, ironing, pressing, folding, and packing garments
Delivering excellent customer service and effectively resolving any client concerns or issues
Managing and organising daily workloads with efficiency, demonstrating excellent multi-tasking skills
Maintaining high standards of punctuality, organisation, and attention to detail at all times
Contract Details:
Self-employed position
Minimum of 45 hours per week
Two weeks’ notice required for termination of contract by either party
Performance and Remuneration:
Annual performance reviews will be conducted. Based on the outcome, you may be eligible for a bonus ranging from £500 to £1,500, as well as salary increases in recognition of sustained excellence throughout the year.
Accountability:
You will be held responsible for any damage caused to company property or customer items. A high level of care, responsibility, and adherence to procedures is therefore essential.
