Playing an important and vital role within the Taymouth Castle project the Housekeeping Assistant maintains all our castle suites or homes, keeping them clean and tidy ensuring that the exceptional standards associated with our club are upheld. Working closely with team members throughout the castle and outlying areas of the estate this role requires someone who is organised, takes pride in a job well done and gains genuine enjoyment (get a buzz?) from making others happy.

Whether you are just starting out or looking for a change in career, the Residential Services team have a wide range of skills and experience and will offer the right individual the best training and development.

Discover Your New Path:

Part of a close-knit team the Residential Services Department is spread across the whole estate working and collaborating with colleagues throughout the various areas of the club to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home’ making sure each visit is unique.

As part of this dedicated and hands-on team you will consistently deliver the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation and genuinely enjoy tidying, cleaning and maintaining standards. From the grand dining halls or the beautifully designed suites of the castle to the designer homes of our club members to the woodland retreats and comfort stations located throughout the estate. This role offers a huge amount of variety and challenge.

Restocking and replenishing bathrooms, refreshing bedrooms and public areas while making sure everything is in its place and kept to the high standards associated with the club. From vacuuming floors, corridors and stairs to coordinating with House Porters and the delivery of fresh linen and towels to the pick- up and collection of dirty linen and rubbish; cleaning all surfaces and floors, showers, baths, basins, toilets, kitchens, windows and garden furniture. Whatever the task you take a huge pride in maintaining the high standards of our magnificent estate.

Keeping our incredible facilities clean and tidy requires a one team approach. Ensuring everything is kept organised in readiness of members and their guests’ departure days and the servicing days in between.

The working hours associated with this role are 8am to 4.30pm or 2pm to 10.30pm.
