Summary
The Elim Tamil Ministries is a registered Christian charity in the United Kingdom and Incorporated with Elim Pentecostal Church, UK. In order to meet the needs of the media ministry, the church has resolved to recruit a suitable Religious Worker – Media Ministry to serve primarily in the Tamil speaking community in the UK and he/she will be responsible to Senior Minister. The main office will be located in East London, but the candidate may be required to travel across the UK in order to meet our ministry's needs. Working hours may be flexible, and there may be an option to work from home as well.
The applicant must satisfy the following minimum requirements before making application to the Board.
Responsibilities:
1. Help to lead the contemporary and the traditional services through our media ministry.
2. Help to lead and demonstrate in some form of spiritual formation at every TV programmes.
3. To work closely with the lead pastor to supports the overall mission of the church.
4. To be in love with the mission of the church.
5. To develop the core teams that are necessary for effective media ministry.
Qualifications:
A born-again Christian with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. New converts with a hunger to work for the Lord with relevant experience may be considered.
A vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
Commitment to moral purity.
Abilities:
1. A heart for the spiritual formation of those in the congregation and the online congregation through ministry.
2. Skilled in organisation, administration, and interpersonal relationships.
3. Skilled in the use of technology in media ministry and in the use of sound, lighting, computers, Power Point, and video projection.
4. A team player with a positive attitude.
