Title: Driver/Religious Worker
Tenure: Full time - 30 hours a week (i.e 6hours Daily, 5days weekly)
Reporting to: Pastor Sunday Iyi
Salary: National Minimum Wage

The Context:
The Redeemed Assemblies Trust is a UK Registered Religious Charity that exists to benefit the residents of Southwark and the neighborhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.
The organisation operates a viable Community Foodbank that cares primarily for the unemployed, homeless, destitute, people without Recourse to Public Funds and low-income families. Our motto is fighting food poverty, providing essentials, and reducing food waste.
Job Summary:
We are looking for drivers to support us with the pick-up and deliveries of essential items, food parcels, groceries from different warehouses, retailers/companies to main site in London. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all national driving laws, rules, and regulations. You will be provided with a vehicle (van) for the duration of your role.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Drive foodbank van to pick up essentials, food parcels, groceries from different warehouses, companies, and deliver them to church site
2. Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
3. Check tyres, brakes, lights, oil and general condition of the vehicle
4. Assists with loading/unloading and obtains receipts from warehouse for goods/food parcels collected/delivered
5. Maintain records of journey times, mileage and hours worked
6. Undertake minor repairs and notifies supervisor of any faults with vehicle
