Summary

We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are excited to be working with a values-driven national charity focussing on community support. This organisation is now seeking an Individual Giving Officer to champion their cause and expand their fundraising efforts.

In this exciting new role, the Individual Giving Officer will take responsibility for individual giving within the charity, creating and implementing a stewardship plan in order to maximise donations and support. Working closely with an external fundraising agency, a particular focus for the Individual Giving Officer will be to revitalise the charity’s direct marketing to build emotional investment and encourage regular giving.

As part of a newly created team, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer to really make their mark on the future of fundraising within the charity, with plentiful opportunities for growth and professional development.

Individual Giving Officer
Full Time, Permanent
Oxfordshire, with Hybrid Working
Salary – Circa £31,000

Duties will include:
• Overseeing the charity’s individual giving programme, including regular giving, in-memory, digital fundraising and appeals
• Providing spectacular donor stewardship, to increase donations and engagement
• Managing the charity’s relationship with the external fundraising agency
• Working with an external fundraising agency to produce and deliver appropriate fundraising campaigns
• Ensuring all data is properly recorded and managed through the database

The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of working on direct marketing campaigns, regular giving donor acquisition or donor retention
• Be a persuasive and compelling communicator, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with donors
• Have the ability to create emotive copy for a range of channels
• Be an ambitious, highly organised, and proactive fundraising professional
