Summary


The post holder will be responsible for managing the day to day running of The Grove, one of six rehabilitation units across Kent which caters for eight clients with complex mental health and engagement difficulties. The successful applicant will lead the nursing team and work closely with multi-professional team to provide intensive rehabilitation, promote recovery and instil hope into the lives of the service users access the service

Maintain high standards of patient care under the direction of the Service Manager.

Be professionally responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

Maintain a supportive leadership profile for all Junior Staff and work collaboratively with medical staff and other health professionals supporting the delivery of patient care.

Ensure that the well-being of patients, staff and visitors is paramount to the ward ethos.

Support the strategic objectives of the Trust through maintaining adherence of staff and of self to all Trust Policies, and external audit requirements.

Work on a supernumerary basis and to occasionally work night duties and weekends to be able to be fully aware and informed of the activities on these shifts
