Summary
Main duties of the job Recruitment of doctors to the GHV program Delivery of an annual pre deployment course with a face to face element in the East of England. Development and delivery of pre deployment and deployment educational materials on the EoE regional learning platform Review and support to doctors on placement during the program, including working alongside educational supervisors in the Host Trusts. Quality assurance of placements in Host trusts Follow up of doctors after the end of the program Ongoing evaluation of the program Governance and oversight of the program Review and evolution of the program in line with local NHSE policies and guidance Provide Leadership and decision making capability for the Programme Revise the written HEE/NHSE Guidance for Doctors working or volunteering overseas Continue GH virtual Teams Coffee Mornings say twice year - good forum for dissemination of information and networking Leadership and development of the Deanery based GH Leadership Team with regular meetings Ability and willingness to travel overseas Please note that this job could be undertaken on a job share basis the distribution of the available PAs/Sessions between post holders being negotiable. This role is being advertised on fixed term basis, for an initial period of 12 months. The future of the role beyond 24/25 will be dependent on the confirmation of ongoing funding for the GH Fellowship programme in future financial years.
