The shift is a waking night starting at 8pm until 7am the following morning. At 8pm you double up with the carer already here to start my bedtime routine, teeth brushing, hoisting, toileting, putting PJ’s on and washing. At around 10pm you will have to support me in bed and give me my supper. I usually settle down for the night around 12. The rest of the night entails turning me and making sure I am comfy
