Hi my name is Rob and I have Multiple Sclerosis, I am looking for a personal assistant with certain qualities that will aid me in my recovery and my well being. I have a very good sense of humour and I am always smiling even though my Life is extremely hard. I am looking for someone that is caring, patient, practical and can work on his/ or her own self-esteem. They must also has a good sense of humour as I find that one thing helps my condition. My type of illness is quite unique in the sense that there has to be a lot of attention to detail. I need someone who is going to bring something to the table i.e. motivation and some get up and go! I Find that motivation find that lack of motivation can hold me back, so I’m looking for somebody who can motivate me as well as keeping a good sense of humour.I like to do my exercises and physio training three times a week at least. You will be required to assist me around my property, just some of your duties will be cooking, cleaning, researching, going to appointments with me et cetera. somebody with a physio/ care background or knowledge in this area would be a great help. As I find this is why I need to help the most. Although Most things can be learned along the way. At the moment I have two other girls working for me, so sometimes you will be working along side them. You will need to be fairly flexible on shift times due to my changing illness and the other girls shift patterns. For the right person there is Day shifts and night shifts available, which will be discussed on interview. Due to insurance purposes all applicants must be over 25 years of age.
