To apply for this position, please visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a company car/van, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.- Daily collection, delivery, and distribution of goods to assigned destinations.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including dates, times, and any incidents or concerns.- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.- Ensure all necessary documentation, such as delivery notes and invoices, are completed accurately.- Provide exceptional customer service, handling any queries or concerns professionally and efficiently.- Assist with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle as required.- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.Qualifications and Requirements:- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver (ideally within a similar industry).- Familiarity with Birmingham and surrounding areas.- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and highway code.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle paperwork accurately.- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading goods.- Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.We offer a competitive pay rate of £10.42 per hour, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within a reputable organization, gaining valuable experience within the driving industry.
