We are currently hiring for a Temporary Car/Van Driver position in Birmingham for one of our esteemed clients. If you possess a valid driving license, a passion for the driving industry, and are based in or around Birmingham, then this could be the perfect role for you.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently transport goods or passengers from one location to another, following all traffic laws and regulations.- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care.- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any vehicle maintenance issues.- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including completing delivery paperwork and obtaining necessary signatures.- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.Qualifications/Requirements:- A valid UK driver's license is essential.- Proven experience as a Car/Van Driver is preferred; however, newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.- Good knowledge of local roads and routes within the Birmingham area.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing time to meet delivery deadlines.- Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric approach.- Physically fit, as some lifting and manual handling may be required.- Must have a clean driving record.Pay Rate:The pay rate for this role ranges from £12.00 to £12.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.To apply:Interested candidates are requested to visit our website www.workchain.co.uk to complete the online application form for the Car/Van Driver position in Birmingham.
