If you meet the qualifications and possess the necessary skills, we invite you to apply online at workchain.co.uk by completing the application form.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, delivering goods within the Batley area.- Observe and adhere to all road traffic regulations, ensuring the safety of both yourself and other road users.- Interact professionally with customers, while ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods.- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks, reporting any faults or issues promptly.- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safe handling and proper placement within the vehicle.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation.Qualifications:- Possession of a valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement is essential.- Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver is highly desirable.- A good understanding of the Batley area and surrounding regions would be advantageous.- Excellent driving skills, including a clean driving record.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and fulfil their requirements.- Physically fit, as some manual handling may be required.- A flexible approach to working hours, as occasional weekend or evening shifts may be involved.
