Summary
Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide in-patient and outpatient care for patients with stroke, TIA and suspected cerebrovascular disease Contribute to the provision of the acute stroke specialist service delivering thrombolysis and other specialist treatments. Development and clinical delivery of comprehensive stroke assessment Comprehensive assessment of stroke mimics Acute inpatient assessment and treatment of stroke,stroke mimics and non-stroke patients admitted to stroke ward TIA and stroke follow up outpatient clinics On call commitment for stroke Thrombolysis in hours and out of hours Supporting the training of medical staff, clinical specialist, ward nurses and other members of the MDT Providing effective leadership to multidisciplinary staff members Details about the roles: Speciality:Stroke Medicine Location:Hertfordshire Shift patterns:8:00-16:00 Mon-Fri on-going, weekends/part-time hours also available Hours per week:20-50 hours available Start date:ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts This is a great opportunity to join our National Bank, which enables you to work in multiple Stroke departments across the country full/part time and be paid great rates of pay.
