Summary


We are recruiting for a Senior Stroke Occupational Therapist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 6 Occupational Therapist with neurological experience to join our Stroke therapy service at the Lister Hospital.

The stroke service is well established and respected within the Trust with new therapy leadership and ambitious plans for development.

The static Occupational Therapist post will be central to this development and there will be opportunities for clinical and leadership development.

The main duties of this role include assessment and treatment of patients within the HASU and ASU at the Lister Hospital, providing neurological support to the therapy team within the hospital and maintaining national therapy guidelines relating to stroke.

As a static senior Occupational Therapist, you will also be required to support and train junior and support staff, mentor students and take part in in-service training and service development initiatives.
