Home Care Worker

  • Benefits: · Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day are paid at £20 per hour. · We pay our training, waiting time and travel time at the rate of 18p per minute in line with the living wage. · Home Care Workers will be reimbursed for petrol (at 25p per mile) or other reasonable travelling expenses incurred as a result of travelling on authorised company business. · Travel time from client to client is also paid at a rate of 18p per minute which equates to £10.80 per hour. Both mileage and travel time are calculated automatically using the CarePlanner software that Kind Hearts Care & Support Ltd use as a rostering system. · Annual leave entitlement is 5.6 times your usual working week (this figure can include bank and public holidays). · Ongoing training will be provided and supplementary courses will be tailored to the needs of your clients and you as a carer.
