Summary

An opportunity has arisen to join the Compliance Team in the Faculty of Health, supporting students from across six schools to meet the professional requirements needed to undertake clinical placements and progress through their studies.

About the role:

Working under the direction of the Senior Compliance Administrator and as part of a busy and supportive team, you will:

• Contribute to the delivery of key compliance processes, including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, occupational health requirements, Fitness to Practise and disciplinary procedures.
• Manage a varied workload, maintain accurate records and databases, coordinate meetings, process documentation and provide a professional service to students, staff and external stakeholders.
• Support compliance processes relating to DBS checks, occupational health clearances and professional requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and update a range of databases and systems.
• Collate and process documentation in accordance with established procedures and deadlines.
• Arrange and provide administrative support for Fitness to Practise and disciplinary meetings.
• Respond to enquiries from students, staff and external organisations in a timely and professional manner.
• Prioritise a varied workload and manage competing demands effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate hybrid working for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

This is a part-time fixed term role, working 25 hours per week until 31/07/2027.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience of working in a busy adminsitrative environment, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage tasks to deadlines.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including experience of maintaining databases and handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Good IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office applications and other electronic record management systems.
• Experience of working with complex or sensitive cases is desirable, particularly within student compliance, Fitness to Practise, appeals or disciplinary environments, including the ability to administer meetings and manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
