Agency Support Worker – Mental Health Services

Hours: Flexible shifts available
SCE Group is seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers to join our agency team and work across services in the Leicester LE2 and LE5 areas.
This role involves supporting adults with mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge. You will play a key role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes while delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide practical and emotional support to service users
Support individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours
Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Follow care plans and risk assessments
Promote dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding at all times
Essential Requirements
Valid and in-date CPI training certificate
Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
Experience managing challenging behaviours
Competent in medication administration
Moving and handling experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS (preferred)
Right to work in the UK
