Summary
We are seeking a caring, patient and proactive PA who can support a 13-year-old girl with a diagnosis of autism. The ideal PA will be calm, empathetic, flexible and able to build a trusting relationship, responding sensitively to her emotional and sensory needs while promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing.
The role would include supporting the individual to safely access the community and participate in activities that she enjoys while helping to promote confidence and wellbeing, while out in the community.
The role would also include supporting emotional regulation, using calm and consistent approaches while responding sensitively to anxiety and distress.
Support with daily routines as required including gentle prompts and encouragement while also respecting and promoting independence.
Provide the family with planned respite by offering reliable, compassionate care.
