We are looking for a friendly and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to join our team to provide bank cover for holiday and sickness.

You will be supporting a 97 year old happy lady living with dementia, and is hard of hearing, who enjoys knitting and chatting. She is mobile with the use of a rollator and is able to manage her own toileting needs.

Cover Required -
- Dates: Wednesday 5th August – 21st August
- Hours: Approximately 14.5 hours per week
- Days: Weekdays only (no weekend work required for this cover)

Opportunity for ongoing bank work to cover holidays and sickness for an existing team of 2 PAs

Duties Include:
Morning Support (1.5–2 hours):
- Prepare and support with breakfast
- Prompt and administer medication
- Assist with dressing and personal hygiene
- Make a picnic type lunch & set reminder to eat
- Lock the property

Evening Support (1–1.5 hours):
- Prepare a hot meal
- Ensure the client is safe, warm and settled
- Secure the home before leaving

Additional Support:
- Provide snacks and encourage regular fluid intake
- Ensure the client is warm, comfortable and safe
- Assist with showering twice a week
- Occasional outings (e.g. trips to the garden centre)

About You:
- Caring, patient and reliable
- Experience with dementia is desirable
- Able to work independently
- Good communication skills

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- 2 caged budgies in property so must be comfortable with pets

Additional requirements
