Summary
To use occupational therapy assessment and interventions to support patients to build a pro-social and meaningful lifestyle Understanding of the OT process Assessment of occupational needs, using a standardised OT model Tailored interventions that promote structured routine, building prosocial relationships, and meaningful use of time. Interventions will be outcome measured Facilitating and designing occupational therapy groups Keyworking cases who have occupational needs as their main treatment identified Liaison with other professionals, including probation, police, offender managers and attending MAPPA meetings Completing initial suitability assessments for new patients referred to the team Supervisory role for students and junior staff Completing specialist forensic assessments, e.g. HCR-20s
