Summary

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to lead the design and delivery of internal dashboards and management information reporting across key business functions, including Sales, Sales Admin, Support and Operations.

This role will be responsible for working directly with stakeholders to understand business needs, shape user stories into technical solutions, and build clear, insightful and scalable Power BI dashboards that support decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will be comfortable owning delivery end to end, from requirements gathering and data modelling through to dashboard development, testing, rollout and ongoing improvement.

This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong technical Power BI capability with commercial awareness, stakeholder confidence and a genuine passion for turning data into meaningful business insight.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of internal dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Admin, Support and Operations to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into user stories and technical designs
Design and build intuitive, visually effective dashboards that provide clear insight and support operational and commercial decision-making
Develop and maintain robust data models, calculations and transformations using DAX and Power Query
Ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, well-structured and aligned to business definitions and KPIs
Translate complex data requirements into practical, user-friendly outputs for both technical and non-technical audiences
Take ownership of dashboard lifecycle management, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation and continuous improvement
Support the development of reporting standards, data quality principles and MI best practice across the business
Work independently to manage priorities, delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations
Contribute to data storytelling by presenting information in a way that is visually clear, commercially relevant and easy to interpret
Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
Work with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Admin, Support and Operations to gather requirements
Translate user stories into technical designs and reporting solutions
Develop data models, transformations and calculations using DAX and Power Query
Own dashboard delivery end to end, including design, build, testing and deployment
Create dashboards that are clear, well-structured and visually effective
Ensure reporting is accurate, scalable and aligned to business KPIs
Support continuous improvement in reporting, data quality and MI standards
Skills & Experience
Experience:
Proven experience delivering Power BI dashboards in a business environment
Experience turning business requirements into technical reporting solutions
Able to own delivery independently from discovery through to implementation
Technology Expertise:

Strong Power BI skills
Strong experience with DAX and Power Query
Good understanding of data modelling and dashboard design
Desirable experience with AWS data platforms such as Athena and DynamoDB
Desirable knowledge of NoSQL and MongoDB
Leadership:

Self-sufficient and able to work independently
Takes ownership and delivers with minimal supervision
Passion for data, insight and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Management:

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams
Able to translate complex data into clear business insight
Project Management:

Able to manage priorities and deliver to deadlines
Organised and structured in approach
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Problem Solving:

Strong analytical and logical thinking
Good understanding of MI, reporting principles and data storytelling
Able to solve data and reporting issues in a practical way
Education:

Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
Relevant certifications are beneficial but not essential
