Summary
We are looking for a passionate, caring and motivated Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our team at Little Legends Day Nursery, a brand‑new early years setting opening in September. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new nursery from the very beginning and help shape a warm, nurturing and high‑quality environment for our children.
-Provide high‑quality care for children aged 0–5, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and emotional security
-Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
-Observe, assess and record children’s development and contribute to learning journeys
-Build strong relationships with families, offering support, communication and reassurance
-Work as part of a team to create a positive, inclusive and stimulating environment
-Maintain a safe, clean and organised setting following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
-Support children’s personal care needs including feeding, toileting and hygiene routines
-Contribute to the smooth running of the room and daily nursery operations
Requirements
-Level 2/3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
-A genuine passion for working with young children
-Good knowledge of the EYFS
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-A positive, caring and professional attitude
-Understanding of safeguarding, child protection and health & safety
-Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
