Summary
An interesting and varied vacancy for 0.8 WTE (30 hours) has become available for an innovative and dynamic Band 6 Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work for Lancaster and Morecambe Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
The successful candidate will have sound clinical and leadership skills, be enthusiastic about the role and its development and be driven to provide excellent mental health services to the local older adult population.
Ideally applicants should have experience of working with older adults with mental health needs and the ability to lead on assessment and provide treatment plans. They should also have excellent communication skills.
The role will involve working within a Multi Disciplinary Team to support older adult service users on the dementia diagnostic pathway and in the community to remain at home and prevent hospital admission.
