Summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager / Early Years Manager to lead a well-established nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious childcare professional who is passionate about improving standards, growing nursery occupancy, and leading positive change within an Early Years setting.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, staff leadership, and strategic development, with a focus on increasing pupil numbers and expanding to a 51-week provision model.
This role is ideal for a confident leader who enjoys developing teams, improving performance, and driving nursery growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall running of the nursery
Drive occupancy levels and increase pupil numbers
Manage, support, and develop nursery staff
Ensure high standards of EYFS delivery and safeguarding compliance
Oversee nursery operations, policies, and procedures
Work towards implementing and improving a 51-week provision model
Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external partners
Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements
Ability to drive nursery growth and occupancy
Strong communication and organisational skills
Passion for Early Years education and continuous improvement
