Summary

As our Operations Manager, you’ll wear many hats. You’ll make sure the day-to-day works seamlessly, while helping us lay the foundations to scale. This is a hands-on, varied role. You’ll work directly with all teams supporting the business general business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Finance & Admin: Manage bookkeeping, expenses, payroll coordination, invoicing, and supplier contracts (working with our external accountants).
- Compliance Support: Help maintain GDPR and ISO policies, procure audits and reporting.
- HR & People: Coordinate recruitment logistics, on-boarding, HR record-keeping, and staff wellbeing processes.
- Process & Tools: Document and develop repeatable procedures to scale all areas of the business.
- General Operations: Keep the wheels turning, ad-hoc projects and team coordination.

About You
- 3+ years’ experience in operations, office management, or business support, ideally in a startup, fintech, or SaaS company.
- Ideally, professional qualifications that complement the role, such as:
- Business Administration
- Operations Management
- Technology Management
- ITIL Certification
- Project Management
- Certified Scrum Master
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable with finance admin and working with external accountants.
- Familiarity with compliance is a big plus which could include:
- 27001:2022 ISMS Foundation Training
- Tech-savvy — happy to pick up new SaaS tools quickly.
- Self-starter: proactive, reliable, and happy to roll up your sleeves.

Salary
Starting salary is negotiated based on previous experience with periodic reviews against a skill matrix. Indicative bands are below, depending on relevant academic background and commercial experience.

1-2y relevant experience: £32k FTE
2y+ relevant experience: £32k+ FTE depending on experience
With relevant qualifications £42k+ FTE

Remote First
We have a mission to become a remote-first company.

It is critical that:
- You have a quiet and comfortable location where you can work from home, equipment will be provided.
- You can travel occasionally (2-4 times a year) for team events in the UK.
- You can work typical office times 09:00 to 17:30 (we’ve not transitioned to full flexible working)
- Must be based in the UK permanently.
