About the role:

To contribute to the delivery of the Shared Lives scheme in Powys by supporting and reviewing arrangements in line with the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and the Adult Placement Services (Service Providers and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2019.

About you:

Ability to problem solve as well as manage and resolve conflict.
Ability to work effectively on own initiative as well as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, in writing & proficient in IT systems
Able to build positive working relationships with carers, individuals, families and professionals
Ability to manage, and prioritise workload and work from a proactive stance
Understanding of legislative and policy frameworks such as Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and Adult Placement Regulations (2019)
What you will do:

To recruit, assess, mentor, support and monitor Shared Lives Carers providing support and accommodation in their own home, on a long or short-term basis, to vulnerable adults within Powys.
To participate in the enquiry and matching process of Shared Lives Carers with potential individuals and facilitate introductions between all parties.
To ensure that all documentation is completed and is to the required standard and in line with The Adult Placement Services (Service Providers and Responsible Individuals) (Wales) Regulations 2019.
To supervise and manage Shared Lives arrangements to ensure the satisfaction of all parties

This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
