Summary

We’re looking for an Industry Placement Advisor on a 0.5 FTE contract. (18.5 hours per week)

Are you passionate about supporting young people to gain industry experience? You will be responsible for a caseload of students enrolled on a variety of T-Level programmes. This is a diverse role which involves co-ordinating substantial industry placements required for students to successfully complete their qualification. You would be working in an experienced team who are passionate about what they do. We are a kind and supportive team who would love to have you join us.

What skills are we looking for:
An excellent communicator – you must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including students, parents, curriculum staff and external employers
A multitasker – you must be able to work on various projects at the same time
A strong organiser – you need to be able complete tasks from start to finish, meet deadlines and work within a budget

Responsibilities for the role:
Achieve Industry Placement and new business targets
Effectively prepare students for their placement and match them to suitable positions
Liaise with students and employers to monitor placement progress and ensure successful completion

The Location:
The role would be based at either our Nuneaton or South Wigston sites. Travel between different sites and to various external locations will be required.

Shortlisting Process -

Each question is scored by a minimum of 2 people on the interview panel. Those applicants with the highest overall score and meet the essential criteria for the role, will progress through to the interview stage and then their application form will be considered too
