ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a passionate and nurturing individual for one of our partner schools in Coventry -CV6. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to facilitate the learning and development of students, ensuring equitable access to the curriculum for all pupils.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and setting up the classroom environment.
• Pupil Progress: Work with individuals or small groups to support and achieve learning goals.
• SEND Support: Provide targeted assistance for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Behaviour Management: Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment by following the school’s behaviour policies.
REQUIREMENTS
• Qualifications: Relevant childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Safeguarding: An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
• Personal Traits: A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to hone a safe and supportive learning environment.
