Summary
The role will involve approximately 12 hours per month, which can be arranged flexibly depending on agreed plans. This may include, for example, two 6-hour sessions per month or occasional full-day outings.
The PA must be a driver with access to a vehicle, as public transport in and around Coleshill is limited. While he occasionally uses public transport or taxis, he would like to build his confidence in this area. Therefore, a PA who is willing to support and encourage him to use public transport when appropriate would be highly beneficial.
He is looking for someone he feels comfortable with and respects. The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, outgoing, and engaging, with the ability to use their initiative. They should be able to offer gentle guidance when needed and introduce him to new experiences and activities.
His interests include music (including occasional gigs), comedy, theatre, cinema, and football. He would also be interested in attending sporting events.
The role will involve planning activities together, making necessary bookings, and maintaining some communication with family members regarding scheduling, online accounts, and payments.
The successful candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest. He requires support with managing money, including online transactions, as he is not able to do this independently.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support to get to and from school/work/college/social activities.
• Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
• Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
• Support with managing paperwork & correspondence.
The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
