Summary
Night Shift Care Assistant. Burscough Manor Care Home
£12.88 per hour
33 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
Shifts: 8pm - 8am including weekend working

We’re currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioners to join our night team. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, if you have a caring nature and a desire to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant on Nights:
Support residents with personal care and nighttime needs
Carry out regular wellbeing checks and respond to call bells
Keep accurate records and report any concerns
Assist with toileting, continence care, and mobility
Complete light cleaning and prepare the home for the morning
Help settle and reassure residents during the night
What We’re Looking For
Someone caring, patient, and compassionate
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work independently during quiet hours
Confident supporting personal care and mobility
Good communication and record‑keeping skills
Calm under pressure and able to respond to residents’ needs
Previous care experience is helpful but not essential
Willing to complete training and follow care regulations
