Summary
Our client, a leading provider of specialist education services in the Cheshire region, is seeking a full-time SEN Behaviour Mentor to join their dedicated team in Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners with special educational needs (SEN).
As the SEN Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for supporting students with a range of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff, you will develop and implement tailored strategies to help students overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.
Your role will involve working one-on-one with students, as well as leading small group sessions, to provide personalised support and guidance. You will use your expertise in behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, and positive reinforcement to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEN needs, along with proven experience in supporting students with complex behavioural and emotional difficulties. You will be a skilled communicator, able to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues alike. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential, as you navigate the unique needs of each individual student.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you may be asked to contribute to the development of the school's behaviour policy and procedures. You will also participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to ensure your knowledge and skills remain up-to-date.
This position offers a competitive salary of £500 - £600 per week, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. The role is based in Warrington, Cheshire, and requires a full-time commitment.
