Summary
We are looking for a calm, patient and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 14‑year‑old autistic boy with learning disabilities. He is a bright, thoughtful young person who thrives on routine, familiarity, and gentle encouragement.
He enjoys the following...
Walking and being outdoors (once he feels comfortable).
Geography, maps, taking pictures and learning about new places.
The idea of joining a gym in the future with the right support.
He experiences high anxiety, particularly around leaving the house, and benefits from a PA who can build trust gradually and help him feel safe. Over time, we would like to build his confidence in accessing the community, trying new places, and meeting people at a pace that feels right for him.
