Summary


We now have a vacancy for a full time, Band 7 Laundry Engineering Team Manager to work at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

The post is permanent, 37.5hrs per week, working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm with flexibility to work across site. The opening hours are 6am - 8pm with rotational Saturday working if required.

You will lead a team of engineers in the service & maintenance of laundry equipment and will be a source of expert advice and support for users of the equipment.

As a leader of a multi-disciplined team of Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and Clerical staff providing a laundry equipment management service, someof your duties are below (please see job description for full list of duties):
• Communicate with and provide specialist advice to the team’s senior managers and colleagues with regard to the efficient running of the equipment.
• Undertake testing and repair of a wide range of complex laundry equipment.
• Undertake a range of duties in a deputising role for the Commercial Services Manager
• Supervise work plans and work of staff.
• Assist in identifying and managing risk associated with laundry equipment and support investigation of laundry equipment related incidents.
• Act as a mentor and oversee training for engineers of all grades ensuring accurate and up to date records.
