Vascular Scientists will be considered.

NT experience and FMF / DQASS number is highly desirable. Experience working in an NHS hospital would be desirable together with UK qualifications in order to justify the banding for this role. You will be primarily based at Oldham however there will be an element of cross site working.

We are a highly skilled friendly team supported by the Clinical Lead team. We actively promote and encourage staff to pursue their interest and take an active role in service improvement.

The Ultrasound department has an established and highly successful trainee sonographer programme and there are opportunities to act as a student mentor. The department has strong educational links with the University of Salford.

Sonographers are appointed to a base site where they will spend the majority of their time, however you may be required to provide cover in accordance with service needs at any of the trust sites. All hospital sites are in close proximity to both the city of centre of Manchester and the countryside of Lancashire with good accessible transport links.

The service supports flexible working arrangements, and part time opportunities are also available and will be considered.
