About the role:

  • Undertake the role of Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator (SENCo) for all statutory purposes, including the organisation and completion of Annual Reviews.
  • Be accountable, alongside our teaching team, for the education of students with SEN, considering individual needs, available resources, and updating timetables and provision maps throughout the academic year in line with the successful candidates' experience and specialisms.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and therapeutic teams to ensure all assessments and documentation are accurate, up to date, and completed within required timescales.
  • Analyse and track student progress using appropriate assessments, data, and records to inform planning and provision.
  • Act as the Designated Teacher for CLA, attending PEP meetings and CLA reviews, and maintaining accurate records and data to support these meetings.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working as a SENCo, with a warm, inclusive approach to supporting children with SEND
  • QTS or QTLS and a Nationally recognised degree
  • A calm, engaging, and resilient approach
  • An innovative teaching style
  • A strong motivation to help every child to reach their potential

Our benefits include:

  • Exclusive access to reward and discount scheme
  • Blue Light discount card
  • Teacher's Pension Scheme
  • Comprehensive induction
  • Commitment to your ongoing training and career progression
  • Paid for enhanced PVG/DBS
  • Wellbeing support
  • Cycle to work scheme and more!

Above all, we provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need it most.
