The successful candidate will support children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other learning differences, providing tailored support both within and outside of the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
- Assisting pupils with EHCPs to access lessons and daily school routines
- Supporting emotional regulation and implementing positive behaviour strategies
- Adapting classroom activities and resources under the guidance of the class teacher
- Encouraging independence, communication, and social development
- Monitoring pupil engagement and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Helping to maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Your consistent support will play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their individual potential.
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN, whether in schools, care, youth work, or similar settings
- Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
- Are confident supporting both individual pupils and small groups
- Are willing to assist with personal care where required
- Hold an Enhanced DBS check, or are willing to obtain one
- Competitive daily pay of £90 per day
