These Primary School Teacher supply opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy flexibility, variety, and making a positive impact across different primary school settings. Working as a Primary School Teacher on supply allows you to choose when and where you work while maintaining continuity of learning and supporting pupils’ progress. This role suits experienced practitioners, ECTs, and teachers returning to the classroom who are confident adapting to new environments.
Duties as Primary School Teacher:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons as a Primary School Teacher across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain effective behaviour management in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different abilities
- Support pupils’ learning and engagement throughout the school day
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
- Provide clear feedback and handover notes to school staff
- Represent Class Act professionally while working as a Primary School Teacher
Ideal Primary School Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working as a Primary School Teacher in a UK primary setting
- Confidence teaching across different year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply work
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
