Summary
Michael is looking for someone who can build a positive and supportive working relationship with him and
assist him in enjoying his daily activities and future independence.
Michael is a friendly gentleman with a learning disability who is looking for a kind and supportive Personal
Assistant to help him with day-to-day activities and appointments.
The role will include supporting Michael to access the community, attend hospital appointments in Calow,
go shopping and assist with meal preparation. Michael currently attends activities at Eckington Community
Centre and hopes to move to Stonelow Court in Dronfield in the near future.
This role would suit someone patient, caring and reliable who enjoys helping others maintain their
independence and quality of life.
Supporting Michael to attend activities and appointments
Assisting with shopping and meal preparation
Encouraging independence and community involvement
Ensuring Michael is dressed appropriately for the weather and activities planned
Providing friendly companionship and support throughout the day.
Be supportive and understanding of Michael’s needs on a day-to-day basis
Drive Michael to appointments and activities when required
Promote a safe, positive and encouraging environment
Assist Michael in maintaining his independence and routines
