Job Description:
We are looking for a male PA to provide person centred approach to provide support to an adult with a learning disability and autism to access the community.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role is centred around supporting the individual access community activities and local services in the S21 and Chesterfield areas twice a week.
We are looking for a PA who will be flexible and patient who can provide a person centred support, encouraging independence.
You will be also be required to communicate clearly as English is not their first language.
Specific Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with a learning disability is preferred.
About Me:
I am a man with learning disability and autism. I live with my sister who cares for me. I mainly speak French but understands some English. I enjoy going to the gym and listening to music. I go a day centre and the pub once a month.
Hours per week and When Will the Hours be Used?
The role is for 6 hours per week, The support is required on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Working times will be in the morning / early afternoon, there is some flexibility around this however this will have to be agreed with the employer.
